Tommy Cook Tommy Cook, loving husband, and son of Lawrence Cook and Joyce Lawson Cook, was born in Dexter, Missouri on January 5, 1963, and went to be with the Lord at the Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on February 16, 2005, at the age of 42 years, 1 month and 11 days. He was a resident of Puxico, Missouri until 1985, lived in various places until moving to Jackson, Missouri in 2002. He attended the First Assembly Of God Church in Cape Girardeau. Mr. Cook was a truck driver and had received many safe driving awards. On November 23, 1985, he was married to Melanie Pruitt in Glennon, Missouri. He will be greatly missed by his devoted wife: Melanie Cook of Jackson, Missouri, he was a terrific dad to daughter: Jenniffer Lynne Cook of Jackson, Missouri, also surviving are his father: Lawrence Cook of Yuma, Arizona, his mother: Joyce Cook of Puxico, Missouri, three brothers: Larry Cook of Jackson, Missouri, Garry Cook of Puxico, Missouri and Kenny Cook of Lincoln, Nebraska. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, family and many friends that survive. Friends may call at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico on Saturday, February 19, 2005, after 5:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2005, at 2:00 PM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with the Rev. Kenneth Lambert of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Fagan Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico Missouri in charge of arrangements.
