Louise Henson Louise Henson, the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Ruby Harvey Griffin was born in Clarksville, Arkansas on January 25, 1922 and passed away at the Pine Lawn Residential Care facility in Puxico, Missouri on January 27, 2005, at the age of 83 years and 2 days. She had moved to Southeast Missouri in 1932 and lived in Puxico most of her life. She was a member of the Providence Missionary Baptist Church near Puxico. Louise had worked as a clerk at Puxico Mercantile and she and her husband had worked for Watkins & Sons Funeral Service from 1964 to 1994. Lousie also enjoyed piecing and quilting quilts for many years. On February 22, 1941, she was married to Paul J. Henson in Vanduser, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 22, 1999. She is survived by one son and daughter in law: Glenn & Ann Henson of Festus, Missouri, two daughters and sons in law: Pauletta & Willard Reese of Conway, Arkansas, Nelda & Bill Burge of Puxico, Missouri, seven grandchildren and spouses: David & Melissa Burge of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Scott & Kelly Burge of Puxico, Missouri, Rebecca & Paul Roberts of Alpena, Michigan, Joshua Reese of Cheynne, Wyoming, Rachel Reese of Townsville, Australia, Leslie Henson of Festus, Missouri, Lori & Reggie Williams of Puxico, Missouri, eight great grandchildren: Colby, Brooke and Taylor Burge, Reese and Hannah Roberts, Clay and Makayla Harty-Williams, Mandy Williams, three sisters: Jean Roberts and Dorothy Arnold both of Bedford, Indiana, Edith Parks of Puxico, Missouri, five brothers: Arch Griffin of Memphis, Tennessee, Tommy Griffin of Cedar Park, Texas, M. E. 'Bud' Griffin of Bedford, Indiana, Glen H. Griffin of Lees Summit, Missouri and Carl 'Dub' Griffin of Puxico, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother: J. H. 'Buss" Griffin and one sister: Hazel Griffin. Friends may call at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico on Saturday, January 29, 2005, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2005, at 2:00 PM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with Elder Don Adams of Matthews, Missouri, Elder Ernie Cate of Puxico, Missouri and Elder Paul Roberts of Alpena, Michigan officiating. Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico Missouri in charge of arrangements.
