Helen Louise Walk Helen Louise Walk of Puxico, Missouri daughter of the late John Newton and Ertie Mae (Triplett) Walk born on April 26, 1934 in Essex, Missouri and passed away on June 28, 2022 in Puxico, Missouri at the age of 88. Helen lived in the Puxico area the majority of her life where she worked in the Puxico Nursing Center until her retirement. Helen enjoyed singing gospel songs with her sisters. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Helen was a member of the Brown General Baptist Church. Helen married Harold Edward Walk August 15, 1953 in Madison, Illinois and was married until his passing in March of 2021. Helen is survived by one son Dennis Pam) Walk of Granite City, Illinois; one daughter Reba Rene (Tom) Phillips of Zalma, Missouri; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; three sisters Jeanie Hamann of Puxico, Missouri; Ruby Hefner of McGee, Missouri; Alma Berrong of Silva, Missouri. She was proceeded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers Daniel James, Lowell, Oshall and Johnny Warren; one sister Lillian Richmond; and one great granddaughter. A host of family and friends also survive. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m At the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri with Reverend Phil Warren of St. Louis, Missouri officiating and Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter, Missouri in charge of all arrangements.
