Lana Jean Corlew, daughter of Doyle Corlew and the late Vera Verneta Blevins Corlew, was born near Essex, Missouri on April 20, 1947, and passed away at her home in Essex, Missouri on January 8, 2006, at the age of 58 years, 8 months and 19 days. She had lived in Essex, Missouri most of her life. She was of the General Baptist Faith. Surviving are her father, Doyle Corlew of Dexter, Missouri; two brothers, Gary Corlew of Essex, Missouri, and David Corlew of Dexter, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 11, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 11, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Kenneth Biggs and Rev. Dean Williams both of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
