Bill Bell of Bloomfield, the son of the late Lee Roy and Ruby Aslee Hardin Bell, was born in Camden, Tennessee on May 23, 1942, and passed away on November 7, 2020, at the Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County, in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 78 years. He worked as a mechanic for years and lived most of his life in Bloomfield. Bill married Gloria Marcus on May 25, 1981, in Mississippi and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a Charter Member of the Dexter Eagles Lodge, serving as the first lodge President, and adored his "Favorite Child " his dog Abby. Surviving him are: one daughter from a previous marriage, Sheri Leeds of Poplar Bluff; two stepsons Bryan King and Scott King both of Essex; six grandchildren; three great grandchildlren; two brothers Larry Bell of Midland, Michigan and Jerry Bell of Benton, Missouri. Other relatives and friends survive. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers James and Bobby Bell; three sisters Dorothy Pierce, Linda Sanders, and Sue Robey. Visitation will be held on Friday November 13, 2020 from 11 am at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Funeral Services will be held on November 13, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri. Interment will be in the Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield.
