

Obituary of John Odell Granstaff Jr.
John Granstaff of Dexter, son of late John Odell Granstaff Sr. and June Howe, Granstaff, was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on September 2, 1946, and passed away at his home in Dexter, on October 16, 2020, at the age of 74 years.
John worked in Upholstery business fixing furniture and car seats, and was retired military 1st Sergeant of the US Army.
In December 10, 2009, he married Hattie Guest in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Surviving him is wife Hattie Granstaff of the Dexter, five sons Michael Granstaff of High Ridge, Missouri, John Granstaff III of Arnold, Missouri, Jason Granstaff of St. Louis, Missouri Jeremy Granstaff of Dexter, Missouri, and Michael King of Piggott, Arkansas; two daughters Katie Granstaff and Jennifer Granstaff both of St. Louis, Missouri; several grandchildren and one great grandson. Other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 20, 2020, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Graveside Service will follow at the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of all arrangements.
