Evelyn Hardin

Mary Evelyn Hardin of Bloomfield, daughter of the late Charles Frank and Idalee Walker Rampley, was born near Bell City, Missouri on September 5, 1937, and passed away at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri on November 15, 2019, at the age of 82 years, 2 months and 10 days.

She had lived in Bloomfield most of her life. She had been a bus driver, baby sat and had managed Coleman's Restaurant.

She first married Dalton Hardin in Bell City and he preceded her in death in 1983. She later married Monroe Gilles in Bell City and he preceded her in death on Septembber 12, 1997.

Surviving are her companion of over 20 years, Randy Madden of Bloomfield; one daughter, Linda Jennings of Bernie; two sons, Ricky Hardin of Piedmont, Rocky Hardin of San Antonio, Texas; 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; and one brother, Kenneth Larry Rampley of Bloomfield. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son in infancy, two brothers Wayne and Dale Rampley, two sisters, Norma Deal and Mildred Bartolo.

Friends may visit on Monday, November 18, 2019, from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri, services to follow at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Cooper of Advance, Missouri officiating.

Interment will follow at the Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
