Doris Mae Sitz

Doris Mae Sitz, the daughter of the late John and Irene Robinson, was born on December 8, 1928, and passed away at in St. Charles, Missouri on October 25, 2005, at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 17 days. She had lived in Dexter, Missouri many years ago and had made her home St. Peters, Missouri before moving to O'Fallon, Missouri. On February 25, 1949, she was married to Hubert Ray Gene Sitz in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1984. Surviving are one daughter, Barb Spain of St. Peters, Missouri; two sons, John (Kimberly) Sitz of Moore, South Carolina, Ronald Ray Sitz of Illinois; four grandchildren, Jamie and Jeff Spain and Lauren and Brad Sitz; one sister, Della Green of Bloomfield, Missouri; and one brother, Clarence (May) Robinson of New Florence, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Donald Allen Sitz, and one sister, Ella Baker. Friends may call from 3:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 27, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 28, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Dwight Hensley of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri is in charge of arrangements.
