Pauline Gladys Novy

Gladys Pauline Novy Gladys Pauline Novy, the daughter of the late Cyril and Cassey Hurrell Mobley, was born in Independence Township, Dunklin County on September 13, 1936, and passed away at her home in Alton, Illinois on October 24, 2005, at the age of 69 years, 1 month and 11 days. She had lived in St. Louis and Alton, Illinois areas for many years. She was married to James L. Woollums in St. Louis, Missouri and he preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, Mark Woollums and Raymond Woollums both of Dexter, Missouri; two daughters, Elizabeth May of Portageville, Missouri, Carmen Hubbard of Woodriver, Illinois; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Charlotte Russell, infant Katheren Ann Woollums, and three brothers, Wayne, Paul Eric and Ed Mobley. One sister Bonnie June Mobley. Friends may call after 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 27, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 27, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Pastor Michael J. Mathey of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri is in charge of arrangements.
