Lyle Hardin
Lyle Hardin, the son of the late Samuel Sanford and Nellie Mae Whitworth Hardin, was born in Clinton, Arkansas on April 14, 1939, and passed away at the Missouri Southern Healthcare Facility in Dexter, Missouri on October 18, 2005, at the age of 66 years, 6 months and 4 days.
He had lived all his life in Missouri and had lived in Parma for several years before moving to Bernie eleven years ago. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Parma, Missouri and was retired from Venture Products.
On October 9, 1964, he was married to Mary Crain in Bernie, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Hardin of Bernie, Missouri; one son, Darren Hardin of Bernie, Missouri; two daughters and sons in law, Tonja and Stanley Pulling and Lisa and Donald Kirk all of Parma, Missouri; two brothers, Sam and Frank Hardin both of Malden, Missouri; and one sister, Mildred Blackburn of Parma, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Beck, and five brothers, Joe, Herbert, Hubert, Wendell and Bill Hardin.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 19, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 20, 2005, in the First Baptist Church in Parma with the Rev. John Girdley of Parma, Missouri officiating.
