Charles Boyles of Fisk, son of the late Harry (Silas) and Myrtha Juanita Abney Boyles, was born in Dexter, Missouri on December 1, 1931, and passed away at the Westwood Hills Nursing Center in Poplar Bluff on August 29, 2018, at the age of 86 years, 8 months and 28 days.

He also married Norma Glenn on June 25,1955 in Dexter Missouri. He also served his country as a 1st LT. in the Army. Charles graduated from University of Missouri in 1953.

Charles lived in the Southeast Missouri area all his life he was a Vo-Ag school teacher until 1970 and owned Boyles Farm Service. He attended the First United Methodist Church in Dexter.

Surviving are his wife Norma Boyles of Fisk; one son and spouse, Larry (Shiela) Boyles of Fisk, Missouri; one daughter and spouse, Kim (James) Galloway of Fisk; four grandchildren and spouse, Morgan (Ryan) Mealy of Fulton, Allison Humphrey of Poplar Bluff, Matthew Boyles of Broseley, Taylor Galloway of Fisk; one great grandchild; Jackson Humphery of Poplar Bluff. Other family and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Harold Dean, and Carrol Gene Boyles; two sisters, Vester Ruth Boyles and Catherine Hamaker.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Service in Dexter from 5:00 to 8:00 p m on Monday, September 3, 2018.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel with the Rev. Ron Beaton of Dexter officiating.

Internment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in charge of arrangements with full military honors.
