Obituary of Edna Hester
Edna Lee Hester, daughter of the late George Buchanan and Ethel McKeller, was born in Tupelo, Mississippi on October 16, 1942 and the Lord called her name on June 17, 2018, at the age of 75. The Angels quickly assembled to begin preparation for her homecoming. God drew her breath and Momma peacefully closed her eyes, surrendering unto our Lord, Jesus Christ. The trumpets sounded, the gates opened and Momma fell into Jesus’ arms and was welcomed to her final home.
Our Mother had lived most of her life in Southeast Missouri. On November 13, 1967 she was blessed in holy matrimony to Lee Arthur "Pops" Hester, Sr. in Baker, Missouri.

Mother departed this life with 28 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Our Mother was truly a great woman as she helped raised 2 siblings and many nieces and nephews.
