Doris Marie Thomas, the daughter of the late Harvey and Mabel Darr Green, was born near Bloomfield, Missouri on July 3, 1940, and passed away at her home in Dexter, Missouri on September 22, 2005, at the age of 65 years, 2 months, and 19 days.
She had moved to Las Vegas, Nevada many years ago where she worked and retired from Cesar's Palace as a change maker. She returned to Bloomfield in 1994 and had moved to Dexter a few months ago. She was attending the Bloomfield Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are one brother, Kenneth Green of Dudley, Missouri; four sisters, Joyce Fleetwood of Henderson, Nevada, Shelby Monroe of Bloomfield, Missouri, Judy DeMarsh of Chaffee, Missouri, and Lois Holden of Dexter, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Green.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 26, 2005, in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Dwight Hensley of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.
