Dale J. Eskew, the son of the late Curtis and Eva Martin Eskew, was born in Dexter, Missouri on July 15, 1941, and passed away at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on September 14, 2005 at the age of 64 years, 1 month and 30 days.
He had moved to St. Louis, Missouri in 1962 and returned to Dexter in 2003. He was retired and had worked at Bodine Aluminum where he was a maintenance mechanic.
Surviving are one brother, Larry "Butch" Eskew of Jackson, Missouri; four sisters, Delois Gales of Dexter, Missouri, Pauline Griffy of Jackson, Missouri, Reta DePriest of Kennett, Missouri, and Jo Ann Pettibone of Overland, Missouri; four nieces, three nephews, four great nieces and four great nephews. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one brother, Dean Eskew.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, September 16, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 17, 2005, in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Keith Garland of Dexter, Missouri officiating and Rev. Marty Lamp of Dexter, Missouri assisting.
