Marie Kinder Marie Kinder, the daughter of the late Lee and Clara Morgan Kinder Peterson, was born in Zalma, Missouri on August 19, 1908, and passed away at the Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on August 26, 2005, at the age of 97 years and 7 days. Mrs. Kinder resided in Dexter, Missouri most of her adult life until September of 1989 when she moved to St. Louis, Missouri to live with her daughters. She was retired from the Elders Manufacturing Company where she worked as a machine operator. She was a member of the Dexter Church Of Christ. On December 12, 1931, she was married to Frank Kinder at Bloomfield, Missouri. He preceded her in death in January 7, 1977. Surviving are two daughters: Janice Ingalls and Annice Schlattman both of St. Louis, Missouri, five grandchildren and spouses: Lt. Col (Retired) Steve Ingalls and wife Cara of Lansing, Kansas, Capt. Kerry Ingalls and wife Leesa of Honolulu, Hawaii, Mary Krebs and husband Scott of Centreville, Virginia, Jeff Schlattman and wife Debbie of St. Louis, Missouri and Julie Burton and husband Chris of St. Louis, Missouri, Eleven great grandchildren: Zachary, Andrew, Amanda and Audrey Ingalls, Elisabeth and Stephen Krebs, Joshua and Margaret Ann Burton, Jacob, Sophia and John Schlattman. Other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2005 at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 30, 2005, at 1:30 p.m. in the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with Bro. Dale Grissom of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouir with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of local arrangements.
