Billy Shafer Billy Shafer, the son of Frankie Sego Shafer and the late Robert Shafer, was born in South Bend, Indiana on December 7, 1960, and passed away at his residence in Parma, Missouri on July 12, 2005, at the age of 44 years, 7 months and 5 days. Mr. Shafer had lived in Parma, Missouri for the past 11 years. He was a former resident of Malden, Missouri and South Bend, Indiana. On October 24, 1988, he was married to Lisa Horton in Malden, Missouri. Surviving are his wife, Lisa Shafer of Parma, Missouri; one son, William Shafer II of Parma, Missouri; two daughters, Sarah Cook of Malden, Missouri, Ashley Ozbun of Parma, Missouri; his mother, Frankie Shafer of Waterloo, Alabama; one grandchild, Jordan Ozbun; two sisters, Judy Pedigo of Dexter, Missouri, Mary Case of Waterloo, Alabama; nieces and newphews, Eric Shafer, Spencer Pedigo, Kelly Pedigo, Chase Case, Tracey Runge and Jacob Pedigo. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one brother: Danny Shafer. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of services on Friday, July 15, 2005 at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 15, 2005, at 2:00 P.M. in the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma, Missouri with the Rev. Sonny Burgess of Campbell, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Parma Cemetery in Parma, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
