Wilma Ruth Grim, the daughter of the late William Clinton and Pearlie Patterson Ellis, was born in Essex, Missouri on September 27, 1917, and passed away at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on January 21, 2009 at the age of 91 years, 3 months and 25 days. Mrs. Grim had lived in Bloomfield since 1935, and was a member of the Bloomfield General Baptist Church. On December 6, 1986, she married to Walter E. Grim, Sr. in Bloomfield, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 15, 2000. Surviving are one daughter, Patricia Ann Underwood of Bloomfield, Missouri; two grandchildren, Troy Underwood of Bloomfield, Missouri, Kim Brown of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; four great grandchildren, Troy Dewayne Underwood, Jacob Lee Underwood, Samantha Elaine Brown, Madison Michelle Brown; one great great granddaughter, Brieonna Underwood; one step-daughter, Joyce Pennington of Michigan; three step-sons, Donald Grim and Wayne Grim both of Michigan, Walter E. Grim, Jr. of Leora, Missouri; one brother, William Arthur Ellis of Zephyrhills, Florida; and one sister, Willene Warren of Dade City, Florida. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Eloise McMullin and Lucille Cutler. Friends may call on Saturday, January 24, 2009, after 11:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2009, at 1:30 PM in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri with the Rev. Kevin Eskew of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
