Wilma Shipman Baldwin, daughter of the late Henry and Dora Pry Shipman, was born in Arkansas on August 3, 1933, and passed away at the Bertrand Nursing Home in Bertrand, Missouri on June 16, 2012, at the age of 78 years, 10 months and 13 days. Mrs. Baldwin had lived in this area most of her life. She was married to Don Baldwin and he preceded her in death. Surviving are one daughter, Loretta Morgan of Dexter, Missouri; two brothers, Henry Shipman of Lawton, Oklahoma and Larry Shipman of Hoopenston, Illinois; three sisters, Betty Mayberry of Westville, Illinois, Verline Griffin of Quitman, Texas, and Mary Atkinson of Clarkrange, Tennessee; two grandsons, Timmy Morgan and Justin Morgan of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and lots of nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. Other family and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 18, 2012, after 10 am at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 18, 2012, at 12:00 pm at the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri, with Chaplain Elijiah Allen of Marble Hill, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
