Willyne Jones

Willyne Jones, daughter of the late Wilfred and Wilma Ann Strong Bowen, was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 19, 1933, and passed away at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield, Missouri on January 27, 2012, at the age of 78 years, 7 months and 8 days. Willeen was a resident of Bloomfield, Missouri. She was raised in Michigan where she went to L.P.N. Nursing School and later lived in Sikeston, Missouri. She was a member of the Hill Church in Bloomfield, Missouri. She had worked as an L.P.N. at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston and had worked in the nursing field for 30 years. Surviving are one son, Jack Beckwith of Daytona Beach, Florida; three daughters, Julie Ann Lewis and Karen Ryan both of Bloomfield, Missouri, Janeen Britt of Bell City, Missouri; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Other relatives and friends also survive. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2012, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Rick Roberts officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
