William Albert Peacock
William Albert Peacock, the son of the late Albert and Ethel Cruse Peacock was born in Barfield, Arkansas on March 11, 1926, and passed away at his home in New Madrid, Missouri on June 2, 2008, at the age of 82 years, 2 months and 21 days.
Mr. Peacock had lived in Parma for fifty years before moving to New Madrid eleven years ago. He was retired from Stites Concrete. He enjoyed Hunting and fishing as well as working in his garden.
On June 7, 1952 he was married to Evelyn Tippen in Piggott, Arkansas.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Peacock of New Madrid, Missouri. One son, Ronnie Peacock of Dexter, Missouri. Two daughters: Sharon K. Adams of New Madrid, Missouri and Jan Boone of Dexter, Missouri. Seven Grandchildren and Nine Great-grandchildren. Two brothers: Johnny Peacock of Dexter, Missouri and Gene Peacock of Harlma, Georgia. Many other friends and relatives also survive. Preceded in death by two sisters: Melba Peacock, Nola Richmond one brother: Lonnie Peacock and one grandson: Justin Peacock.
Friends may call at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma, Missouri on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 after 6:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Parma, Missouri with the Rev. Richard Blagg of Malden, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid, Missouri.
