William C. "Bill" Massey of Bloomfield, son of the late William Chandler Massey, Sr. and Edith Henley Massey, and was born in Morenci, Arizona on August 20, 1928, and passed away at his home in Bloomfield on November 11, 2014, at the age of 86 years, 2 months and 22 days.
He had worked as a truck driver for many years and was a longtime member of the Teamsters.
He was previously married to Jeanine McKee of DeKalb, Mississippi for 47 years, she survives.
Also surviving are one son, James Massey of DeKalb, Mississippi; four siblings, Phyllis King of Dexter, Larry Massey of Bloomfield, Vickie Moore of Dexter and John Massey of Bloomfield. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Thrower, Mae Wyatt and two brothers, Jack and Teddy Massey.
Friends may visit on Thursday, November 13, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:30 pm at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 14, 2014, at 11:00 am at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri with Rev. Alice Fowler of Bloomfield officiating.
Interment with be in the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.
