William Dunn

William "Bill" Dunn, son of the late Harvey and Aureola Baughn Dunn, was born in Elvins, Missouri on November 11,1930, and passed away at the Progress West Health Care in O'Fallon, Missouri on January 25, 2013, at the age of 82 years. Mr. Dunn was a school teacher in the Bernie School District, for a short time before moving on to the Rockwood School District where he was a principal. He was of the Baptist faith and served in US Air Force. On August 15, 1953, he was married to Betty Joyce Murphy in Bernie, Missouri. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Marsha Allen of Ballwin, Missouri; and Donna Eilers, of St. Peters Missouri, one son, Keith Dunn of Bellevue Nebraska; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one sister, Betty Ann Norton of Atlanta Texas; three brothers Harold Dunn of Sand Spring Oklahoma, Phillip Dunn of Houston Texas, and James Dunn of O'Fallon, Missouri. He was preceded in death by one brother David Dunn, and two sisters Wilma Williamson, and Mary Teel. Visitation will be held on Monday January 28, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Son Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Glenn Graham of Springfield, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
