Willard "Bill" Green, son of the late Noah Sullivan and Bertah Bell Holycross Green, was born in Allen Township, Ohio on October 29, 1927, and passed away at Wappapello, Missouri on July 1, 2006, at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 3 days.
Mr. Green had been a resident of Dexter, Missouri for past ten years and a former resident of Marble Hill and Jackson, Missouri. He had served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force. He was a retired clerk for the U.S. Postal Service, Cape Girardeau Post Office and a lifetime member of the VFW. He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are one son, Donald Green of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter, Delores Slinkard of Marquand, Missouri; four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with full Military Honors conducted by the Stoddard County Veteran's Honor Team.
