Wilda Mae Menley
Wilda Mae Menley, the daughter of the late Jess H. and Alie Eagan Horn, was born in Strawberry, Arkansas on July 4, 1931, and passed away at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on June 17, 2005, at the age of 73 years, 11months and 13 days.
Mrs. Menley had lived in Bloomfield, Missouri since 1954, and was a member of the Church of Christ in Bloomfield, Missouri.
On March 3, 1954, she was married to Arvel N. Menley in New Madrid, Missouri.
Surviving are her husband, Arvel N. Menley of Bloomfield, Missouri; three daughters, Evelyn Boyt, Cathy Smith, and Joan Espada all of Dexter, Missouri, Wilma Rogers of Sikeston, Missouri; one son, Glennon Menley of Lebanon, Missouri; seventeen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three brothers, John Horn of Bloomfield, Missouri, Jess and Bob Horn both of Dexter, Missouri; four sisters, Verneal Durbin and Nina Williamson both of Bloomfield, Missouri, Shirley Smith of Boise, Idaho, and Nadene Teeters of Circle City, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patty Thompson; one sister, Lana Spencer; and one brother, Herman Horn.
Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. on Sunday, June 19, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2005, at 1:30 P.M. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Bro. of , Missouri officiating.
