Welton Wilson

Welton J. Wilson, son of the late Henry Jay and Henrietta (Wilson) Wilson, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 31, 1920, and passed away at the Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County in Dexter on September 10, 2013, at the age of 93 years, 7 months and 10 days. He had lived in St. Louis and Herman, Missouri before moving to Dexter in 2002. He was a member of the American Legion and had served in the Army Air Corp. Surviving are many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon J. Wilson, Howard Wilson; and one sister, Madelyn G. Wrisberg. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 25, 2013, after 9:00 a.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with full military honors. Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
