Wanda Pullum, daughter of the late John Clyde and Pearl Baker Cook, was born in Bloomfield, Missouri on July 7, 1931, and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on May 22, 2015, at the age of 83 years, 10 months and 15 days.
She had lived in Bloomfield most of her life. She was a member of the Beech Grove General Baptist Church near Bloomfield and loved quilting, gardening and loved to cook for her family and friends.
On September 27, 1947 she was married to George L. Pullum. He preceded her in death on September 28, 2002.
Surviving are one son and daughter in law, Barry & Jackie Pullum of Bloomfield; two grandchildren and wives, Bill & Melissa Pullum of Bloomfield, Neil & Rebecca Pullum of Bloomfield; one great grandson, Colt Pullum of Bloomfield; two brothers, Larry Cook of Dallas, Texas, Garry Cook of Michigan; and one sister, Colene Sykes of Dixon, Tennessee. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother, J. C. Cook, and two sisters, Susie McCollum and Anna Lois Underwood.
Friends may visit on Sunday, May 24, 2015, after 12:30 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, May 24, 2015, at 2:30 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Ricky Roberts officiating.
Interment will follow at the Bluff Cemetery at Idalia with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
