Wanda Ruth Carwile, the daughter of the late Floyd Gaines and Gladys Effie Wilburn Clark, was born in Dexter, Missouri on January 8, 1937, and passed away at the Cypress Point Nursing Facility in Dexter, Missouri on August 31, 2009, at the age of 72 years, 7 months and 23 days. She attended church at the First General Baptist Church in Dexter and was a member of the Dexter Eagles Lodge. Surviving are one son Larry (Gina) Carwile of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter, Vickie (Kevin) Kell of Jackson, Missouri; four grandchildren: Jason and Jessica Kell of Jackson, Missouri and Christina and Logan Carwile of Dexter, Missouri. Two brothers: Gene Gaines of Dexter, Missouri, Marlin "MOE" Gaines of Sikeston, Missouri. One sister: Patsy Wills of Festus, Missouri. A very special friend: Bob Rushing of Dexter, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends survive to mourn her passing. Friends may call on Wednesday, September 2, 2009, after 10:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2009, at 2:00 PM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in theHagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
