Walter Davis

Walter "Buck" Davis, son of the late Walter William and Wanda Lee louise Davis, was born in Sikeston, Missouri on January 6, 1951, and passed away at his home in Indianapolis, Indiana on June 24, 2011, at the age of 60 years, 5 months and 18 days. Buck had lived in the Essex, Missouri area before moving to Indiana and was a retired plumber. Surviving are four children and spouses, Amber Davis, Devon & April Davis, William "Billy" & Jennifer Davis, and Amy Davis; eight grandchildren, Terry Lee, Lance, Ashley, Gauge, Walter, Summer, Devon, Jr. and Isaiah Davis; one brother, David Davis; two sisters, Carol Sue Whitechurch and JoAnn Van Gilder. Many other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Phyllis Robinette and one nephew, Mark Mathis. Friends may visit on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at 3:00 PM in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Steve Tippen of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
