Vivian G. Hodge, daughter of the late Harry and Vallie Revelle Johns, was born in Advance, Missouri on October 17, 1920, and passed away at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on July 20, 2011, at the age of 90 years, 9 months and 3 days.
She had lived in the Puxico, Missouri area all her life. She attended the Life Chapel Assembly of God Church in Puxico and enjoyed sewing and quilting.
On February 4, 1942, she was married to Troy Hodge in Puxico, Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 21, 1998.
Surviving are one son & spouse, Gary & Phyllis Hodge of Advance, Missouri; six grandchildren & spouses, Sherry Trout, Glenn & Tammie Hodge, Jamie & Shawnta Hodge, Dwayne & Lisa Dunning, Barbara Felks, Tammie & Eric Angel; eleven great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and one brother, Bobby Johns of Jerseyville, Illiniois. Other relatives and friends also survive.
Friends may call on Sunday, July 24, 2011, after 12:00 pm at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 24, 2011, at 2:30 pm at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with the Rev. Ray Placher of Puxico, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
