Virgil Bell

Virgil Harvey Bell, son of the late Virgil Harvey and Edith Elliott Bell, was born in Allenton, Missouri on March 26, 1928, and passed away at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield, Missouri on February 10, 2009, at the age of 80 years, 10 months and 15 days. Mr. Bell had lived in Henderson, Kentucky until moving to Puxico, Missouri in 1972. In March, 1950, he was married to Anna Eldora Porter. She preceded him in death on May 23, 1977. Surviving are two sons, Virgil Eugene Bell of Gray Summitt, Missouri, Thomas Steven Bell of Villa Ridge, Missouri; two step-daughters and sons in law, Joyce and Willard Jenkins of Dexter, Missouri, Angela and Keith Proffer of Puxico, Missouri; and eight grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive. Private family services were held. Interment was in the Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson, Kentucky with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
