Virgie Alexander of Dexter, daughter of the late Clinton Scowden and Ruth McConnaughhay Scowden Hardin, was born in Grayridge, Missouri on January 4, 1941, and passed away at her home in Dexter on January 9, 2017, at the age of 76 years and 5 days.
She had lived in the Dexter area most all of her life. She had worked at Arvin Automotive and was of Baptist faith..
On August 1,1957, she married Bob C. Alexander in Grayridge Missouri .
Surviving are her husband, Bob C. Alexander of Dexter; two sons & wife, Bob C. Alexander, Jr. of Portland, Oregon, Gregory Alan Alexander of Dexter; two grandchildren; Jessie Lynn Rivera, Bobby Charles Alexander III; two great grandchildren; one brother: Lester Scowden of Bell City Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Kerry Lee Alexander; three brothers, Clinton Eugene and George Scowden, David Hardin.
