Vera Beatrice Cagle

Vera Beatrice Cagle, the daughter of the late John Moore and Minnie Crawford Moore, was born in Calhoun City, Mississippi on September 14, 1909 passed away at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on October 22, 2006, at the age of 97 years, 1 month and 8 days. Mrs. Cagle was a homemaker and a resident of the Parma, Missouri area for seventy five years. She was a member of the Parma General Baptist Church. On December 26, 1925 she was married to Luther Thomas Cagle at New Madrid, Missouri. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1970. Surviving are one son and his wife: Luther and Joyce Cagle of Malden, Missouri, one grandson and his wife: Rod and Kathy Cagle of Powe, Missouri, one granddaughter and her husband: Kim and Rick Allen of Malden, MIssouri, four great grandchildren: Micah Allen of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Rayne and Grant Cagle of Powe, Missouri and Tyson Allen of Malden, Missouri, one sister-in-law: Gladys Cagle of Parma, Missouri. Other friends and relatives also survive. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Jesse, Andrew and Herman Moore and two sisters: Virginia Mohr and May Suggs. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, October 23, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2006, at 2:00 PM at the Parma General Baptist Church in Parma, Missouri with Rev. Joe Williams of Malden, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Parma, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
