Thomas Earl Trout, the son of the late James Ora and Dottie Mae Wright Trout, was born in Campbell, Missouri on July 19, 1930, and passed away at the Veteran's Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on January 24, 2009 at the age of 78 years, 6 months and 5 days.
Mr. Trout had lived in Pontiac, Michigan for 33 years where he worked at General Motors. He moved to Dexter, Missouri twenty-five years ago. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp.
On April 15, 1954, he was married to Shelby Jean Limbaugh in Pontiac, Michigan.
Surviving are his wife, Shelby Jean Trout of Dexter, Missouri; one son, Steven Earl Trout of Dexter, Missouri; three daughters, Robin Jo Turner of Rutledge, Tennessee, Tracey Ann Jones of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Kim Michele Miller of Clarkston, Michigan; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; four sisters, Mavis Gray of Puxico, Missouri, Mary Lee Hicks of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Opal Lee Wilson of Arnold, Missouri, and Virginia Vail Lambert of Dexter, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James William "Bill" Trout, Beril Trout, and three sisters, Leatrice Limbaugh, Irene Abernathy and Dora Lee Trout.
Friends may call on Thursday, January 29, 2009, after 5:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2009, at 11:00 AM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with Pastor Harold Sitze of Puxico, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 30, 2009, with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
