Thomas C. Cross

Thomas C. Cross, son of the late James Thomas and Viola Gann Cross, was born in Bernie, Missouri on July 24, 1923, and passed away at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on February 13, 2006, at the age of 82 years, 6 months and 20 days. He resided in Bernie, Missouri all his life and was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Bernie, Missouri. On June 5, 1959 he was married to Lois Kinkade at Bernie, Missouri. Surviving are his wife: Lois Cross of Bernie, Missouri, two sons: Steve Cross of Bernie, Missouri and Danny Ray Cross of Lexington, Kentucky, one grandson: Brian Cross of Dexter, Missouri, one brother: Pat Cross of Bernie, Missouri and one sister: Emma James of Bernie, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. Three brothers Junior ray Cross, Cletus Leon Cross, Avery Lee Cross and one grandson, Darren Ray Cross, preceded him in death. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 16, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Bill Garrett of Bernie, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery in Bernie, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
