Thelma Marie Gee, the daughter of the late Louis Edward and Ella Merten Geisenhauer, was born in Ithaca, Michigan on May 4, 1909, and passed away at the Canterbury Manor Nursing Home in Waterloo, Illinois on May 8, 2007, at the age of 98 years and 4 days.
She had lived in Parma, Missouri most of her life and had moved to Waterloo, Ilinois several years ago. She was a member of the Parma United Methodist Church.
On September 22, 1928, she was married to Lonie Otho Gee in Flint, Michigan. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1990.
Surviving are four daughters, Maxine Mable Schmidt of Columbia, Illinois, Vanita Thelma Ryon Duckworth of Risco, Missouri, Lola Linda Walley of Bagdad, Arizona, Beverly Ann Walter of Fairfield, Illinois; eleven grandchildren, many great grandchildren; one sister, Erva Ella Hardy of St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Edna Thompson, and six brothers, Frank, Clarence, Harold, Nicholas, Rollen and Melvin Geisenhauer.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, May 11, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 12, 2007, at the Parma United Methodist Church in Parma, Missouri with the Rev. Bill Reid of Lilbourn, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Parma Cemetery in Parma, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
