Terry Scroggins, the son of Margaret Ellis Scroggins Baker and the late Jessie Lee Scroggins, was born in Sikeston, Missouri on March 7, 1960, and passed away at his home in Bloomfield, Missouri on September 18, 2006, at the age of 46 years, 6 months and 11 days.
He had lived in Dexter for many years and moved to Bloomfield, Missouri in 1996. He was a diesel mechanic and had worked for Allied Waste and Dexter Transport.
On January 13, 1995, he was married to Lottie Layton in Dexter, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Lottie Layton Scroggins of Bloomfield, Missouri; two step-sons, Christopher Layton and Michael Layton both of Bloomfield, Missouri; two grandchildren; his mother, Margaret Baker of Dexter, Missouri; two brothers, Garry Scroggins of Dexter, Missouri, Barry Scroggins of Jackson, Missouri; two sisters, Marilyn Scroggins and Sandra Prunty both of Dexter, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
Friends may call on Tuesday, September 19, 2006, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 20, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Bro. James Malloy of Essex, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
