Susan Kay Woodard, daughter of Paul Wayne Woodard, Sr. and Joyce Wanda Layton Woodard Hall, was born in Dexter, Missouri on June 1, 1973, and passed away at her home in Dexter, Missouri on December 7, 2013, at the age of 40 years, 6 months and 7 days.
She had lived in Essex most of her life and had lived in Dexter the past year. She had worked as a cashier and was affiliated with the pentacostal church.
Surviving are one son, Hunter Hare of Dexter, Missouri; her mother, Joyce Hall of Essex, Missouri; her father, Paul Wayne Woodard, Sr. of Dexter, Missouri; two brothers, Paul Wayne Woodard, Jr. of Junction City, Kansas, Douglas Grazitt of Dexter, Missouri; three sisters, Rebecca Kelley of Benton, Missouri, Marsha D. Woodard and Donna Jean Poe both of Dexter, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Charles Woodard of Advance, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Links Chapel near Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
