Sueretha Smith

Sueretha Mildred Smith, the daughter of the late Leman and Vera Anderson DeLoach, was born in Savannah, Georgia on July 26, 1927, and passed away at West Ridge Place Assisted Living in Sikeston, Missouri on October 13, 2009, at the age of 82 years, 2 months and 18 days. Mrs. Smith had lived in Douglasville, Georgia for many years before moving to Bloomfield, Missouri two years ago. She was a member of the Southwest Church of the Nazarene in Dexter, Missouri. On , 19, she was married to Harold Robert Smith in , . Surviving are her husband, Harold Robert Smith of Sikeston, Missouri; one son, Kevin Smith of Villa Rica, Georgia; one daughter, Sue Tippen of Bloomfield, Missouri; one grandchild; and one brother, James DeLoach of Oklahoma. Many other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Virginia Tomczak. Friends may call on Thursday, October 15, 2009, after 12:30 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2009, at 1:00 PM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Ed Stoner of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
