Shirley Jean Mace, daughter of the late Vernon and Luella Muench Huff, was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri January 24, 1948, and passed away at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield, Missouri on January 4, 2010, at the age of 61 years, 11 months and 11 days.
She had lived in Puxico and Bloomfield, Missouri most of her life.
On June 24, 1965, she was married to Albert Lee Mace, Sr. in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Surviving are her husband, Albert Lee Mace, Sr. of Puxico, Missouri; one son, Albert Lee "Pete" Mace, Jr. of Puxico, Missouri; one daughter, Shirley Jean Morgan of Doniphan, Missouri; two grandsons, Nic Mace of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Adrian Mace of Puxico, Missouri; two granddaughters, Kimberly Morgan and Amber Morgan both of Doniphan, Missouri; one brother, Vernon Huff of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; two sisters, Margaret Laughlin of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Trish Schafer of Sikeston, Missouri. Other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, June Huff.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 5, 2010, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Services will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2010, 11:00 AM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Jamie Jones of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Misouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
