Shirley Dunivan of Puxico, Missouri, daughter of the late Coda and June Lane Brown, was born in Fredericktown, Missouri on June 8,1930 and passed away on July 25, 2018, at her home in Puxico, at the age of 88 years, 1 month and 13 days.
Mrs. Dunivan lived in Brownwood, Missouri, then moved to Puxico in 1956. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church for over 50 years. She loved to camp and see the sights, sewing and her family.
On September 25, 1948 she married William Edward "Ed" Dunivan in Advance, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 3, 2016.
Surviving are two sons, Eddie and Pat Dunivan of Puxcio; and James and Pam Dunivan of Poplar Bluff; six grandchildren and spouses; Danny and Tara Dunivan; Joe and Stacy Dunivan; Marty and Karen Reese; Heather and Keith Willcut, Missy Young; Jennifer and Scott Townsend; ten great grandchildren and spouses; Kaitlyn and Levi Payne; Chris Dunivan; Averee Dunivan; Ella Dunivan; Keaton Willcut; and Ashtyn Reese; Briana Palmer; TJ Butler; Trenton Butler and Kaitlyn Townsend; one great great grandchild, Carson Palmer; two brothers Bobby Brown of Marquand, Mickey Brown of Marble Hill, Missouri. She was preceded in death by three brothers Dean, Jerry and Darrell Brown; four sisters Louise Marlowe, Patty Harris Peggy Arnett, and Imogene Hale Other relatives and many friends also survive.
Friends may call on Friday, July 27, 2018, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the First General Baptist Church in Puxico, Missouri with Dr. Danny Dunivan of Evansville, Indiana and Rev. Kenneth Lambert of Bloomfield, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
