Sheila Faye Bostic Mott of Dexter, Missouri, daughter of the late McKinley and Edna (Defendall) Hess was born on March 29, 1948, in Parma, Missouri, and passed from this life on April 10, 2023, at Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 75.
Sheila lived in the Southeast Missouri most all of her life. She attended the Dudley Community Church. Sheila enjoyed shopping at yard sales and flea markets. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, fishing, spending time with family especially spoiling her grandchildren. She also truly enjoyed singing in church.
She married Jude Bostic on May, 25, 1965, and remained married until the time of his passing on October, 14, 2010, and later married David Mott in August of 2013, in Dudley, Missouri.
Sheila is survived by her husband of the home; one son, Chad Allen Bostic of Essex, Missouri; two daughters, Paula Rachelle (Houston) Smith of Dexter, Missouri, and Ashley Nicole Foster of Dexter, Missouri; five grand children; and two great-grand children; two close personal friends Mary George and Charlotte Jones; as well as a host of family and friends.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers and five sisters.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M with Funeral Service to follow with Pastor Lynn Ash officiating at the Watkins And Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter, Missouri.
Interment will be at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri, with Watkins And Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
