Sheila M. Griswell, daughter of the late Woodrow and Mary Irene Layton DeJournett, was born in Dexter, Missouri on February 22, 1954, and passed away at the Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on September 2, 2010, at the age of 56 years, 6 months and 11 days.
She had lived in Bloomfield, Missouri until moving to Ellington, Missouri ten years ago. She was of the Baptist Faith.
On December 8, 1980, she was married to Terry Griswell in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Surviving are her husband, Terry Griswell of Ellington, Missouri; two sons, Jimmy and Danny Bowers both of Ellington, Missouri; four grandchildren, Alisha, Kassie, & Stacy Bowers all of Elligton, Missouri, Ricky Bowers of Dexter, Missouri; two brothers, Jim Blocker and Terry DeJournett both of Bloomfield, Missouri; and one sister, Mary Jane Crowe of Dexter, Missouri. Other relatives and friends survive.
Private graveside services will be held at the Link Chapel Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
