Sharon Strauser

Sharon Ruth Strauser of Dexter, Missouri daughter of the late Orley and Oneida (Sitz) King born on December 28, 1943 in Gravel Hill, Missouri passed away on February 19, 2022 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri at the age of 78 years. She lived in Aquilla, Missouri for most of her life. Sharon enjoyed to work outside planting flowers and raising cattle. She was a cook and waitress at Hills Cafe for many years. Sharon was married to Lendel Strauser on July 01, 1967 near Bloomfield, Missouri until his passing on May 05, 2016. Sharon is survived by one sister Joan Logan of Dexter, Missouri; one brother Dean King; three nephews Randy Humphrey, Leslie Humphrey and Gale Humphrey; two nieces Staci Counts and Jolean Duer and a very dear friend Betty Dugger. She is preceded in death by her parents Orley and Oneida King; her husband Lendel Strauser; one son Denis Strauser and one brother Onal King. A host of family and friends also survive. Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 22, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday February 22, 2022 at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with Brother Charlie Robertson of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating and Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter in charge of all arrangements.
