Sharon Horn

Sharon Sue Alberson Horn, the daughter of the late Emther Verdene and Mildred Ellen Qualls Alberson, was born in Bernie, Missouri on October 4, 1947, and passed away at her home in Dexter, Missouri on September 11, 2009, at the age of 61 years, 11 months and 7 days. She had lived in Stoddard County and Dexter most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Bloomfield. She had been a truck driver with Edwards Transportation. On September 12, 1964, she was married to Bobby Dean Horn, Sr. in Essex, Missouri. Surviving are her husband, Bobby Dean Horn, Sr. of Dexter, Missouri; three sons, Bobby Dean Horn, Jr. of Ormond-By-The-Sea, Florida, Michael Shane Horn and Darin Verdene Horn, Sr. both of Dexter, Missouri, six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Tracy Bijeaux of Layfayette, Louisiana; her step-mother, Jackie Alberson of Essex, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends survive to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by one brother, Randy Fincher and two sisters, Cheryl Alberson and Diane Cross. Friends may call on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at 11:00 AM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Bro. Dale Grissom of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
