Sarah Adams

Sarah Louise Adams, daughter of the late Francis and Jessie Birdsall Ginter, was born in Pennsylvania on May 10, 1931, and passed away at her home in Woodson Terrace, Missouri on October 13, 2007, at the age of 76 years, 5 months and 3 days. Mrs. Adams had lived in Dexter from 1972, to 2004, when she moved to St. Louis, Missouri. She had worked at the Airways Restaurant as a waitress before her retirement and had attended the Calvary Baptist Church in Dexter. On July 6, 1951, she was married to Ronald G. Adams in St. Louis, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 26, 1999. Surviving are two sons, Dennis Adams of Cahokia, Illinois, Robert Adams of St. Louis, Missouri; one daughter, Janet Carrillo of St. Louis, Missouri; and eight grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive. Friends may call on Thursday October 18, 2007, after 10:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Graveside services will be held on Thursday October 18, 2007, at 2:00 PM at the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Danny Collins of Broseley, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
