Wayne Freeman, son of the late Murray Alton Sanford and Joyce Elaine Cecil Freeman, was born in Hayti, Missouri on January 28, 1961, and passed away at his home in Parma, Missouri on May 12, 2011, at the age of 50 years, 3 months and 15 days.
He had lived in Birch Tree & Winona, Missouri and moved to Parma, Missouri in 2004. He was a welder at Cato Welding and enjoyed deer hunting and wood working.
On September 29, 1979, he was married to Debra Cannady in Lilbourn, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Debra Freeman of Parma, Missouri; one son, Skyler Miley of Parma, Missouri; three daughters, Sierra Freeman of Parma, Missouri, Nicole Bales and Christy Bales, both of Mountain View, Missouri; one brothers, Jerry Freeman of Lilbourn, Missouri; two step-brothers; Russell Moore of Scott City and Jay Freeman of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; three step-sisters; Lucinda Buhler of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Tammy Ruikkel Bucher of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Tracie Freeman of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; step-father, Henry Freeman of Sikeston and step-mother, Patsy Freeman of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ethel & Bennie Cecil and John & Mamie Freeman.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 15, 2011, at 5 :00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 16, 2011, at 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Parma, Missouri with the Rev. Frank Townsend of Parma, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Mounds Park Cemetery in Howardville, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
