Sandra French, daughter of the late Clarence Sylvester and Shirley May Lambert French, was born in East St. Louis, Illinois on May 16, 1956, and passed away at her home in Bloomfield, Missouri on December 11, 2013, at the age of 57 years, 6 months and 25 days.
She had lived in Collinsville, Illinois until moving to Bloomfield in 2001. She had worked as home maker through Continued Care and was a Baptist. She enjoyed Sewing, Knitting, quilting, crocheting, fishing, camping and crafts.
On June 14, 2002, she was married to Ron Wells in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Surviving are her husband, Ron Wells of Bloomfield; three daughters, Tammie Robinson of Dexter, Sheri Hahs of Bloomfield, Debra Payne of Effingham, Illinois; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother, Thomas French of Collinsville, Illinois; two sisters, Brenda Turner of Bloomfield and Sharon Rushing of Sparta, Illinois. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one infant grandson, Kaden Hahs.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
