Obituary:
Sandra Faye Carden, of Puxico, Missouri, known for her dedication in the insurance industry for over 20 years, peacefully passed away on May 16, 2024 in the presence of her loved ones at her family home in Puxico. She was born on May 24, 1965, in Poplar Bluff, where she grew up surrounded by the love of her parents, Dennis Leon and Connie Elizabeth Faye (Walker) Marquis.
In addition to her grieving parents, Sandra leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and an impact on those who knew her best. She shared deep connections with her: two sisters, Deana Coleman and Denise Marquis both of Puxico; as well as two beloved nephews, Brandon and Jared Coleman.
Sandra's circle of friends extended far and wide but none more special than Nicole Holloway, her lifelong best friend who stood by her through thick and thin.
Apart from her professional accomplishments, Sandra enjoyed immersing herself in the captivating worlds penned by John Grisham novels. Her quiet moments were often spent within the walls of Fairview Methodist Church where she found solace and community.
Though Sandra has bid farewell to this earthly realm, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her kindness and warmth. As we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate the vibrant life she led and the love she shared with all those around her.
Sandra's life will be commemorated with a Visitation at Watkins Funeral Homes in Puxico on May 21, 2024, starting at 12:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. The Interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Puxico at 2:00 PM. with Pastor Steve Jones officiating.
