Samuel Storey

Samuel Storey, son of the late Samuel Louis and Bertie Marler Storey, was born in Fisk, Missouri on January 10, 1928, and passed away at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield, Missouri on April 13, 2010, at the age of 82 years, 3 months and 3 days. He had lived in the Fisk and Dexter, Missouri area most of his life. On July 10, 1953, he was married to Mary Alice Hodge in Michigan. She preceded him in death on August 5, 2002. Surviving are one daughter, Deborah Ann Weatherly of Springfield, Missouri; two grandchildren; Monica Weatherly of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Russell Weatherly III of Ozark, Missouri. Other relatives and friends survive. Visitation will be Friday, April 16, 2010, after 1:00 PM at Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in Dexter, Missouri. Services will be held Friday, April 16, 2010, at 2:30 PM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with full military honors. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
