Sally McGowen, the daughter of Eva Mae Hazel Phillips and the late Everett Phillips, was born in Bloomfield, Missouri on April 5, 1956, and passed away at the Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on March 24, 2006, at the age of 49 years, 11 month and 19 days.
She had lived in Puxico and Dexter, Missouri all of her life.
On December 17, 1981, she was married to Rick McGowen in Puxico, Missouri.
Surviving are her husband, Rick McGowen of Puxico, Missouri; one son, Tony McGowen of Bloomfield, Missouri; one daughter, Samantha Rose Pearson of Dexter, Missouri; four grandchildren; two brothers, Jackie and Lance Phillips both of Puxico, Missouri; two sisters, Linda Collins of Morehouse, Missouri and Sherry Draper of Puxico, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother, Eddie Steven Phillips.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
